HABITS · FRIENDS · ONE SHARED WEEK
A habit tracker with friends, one week at a time.
An accountability partner can make a small promise feel easier to keep. Antamio lets you choose a challenge, invite a friend and track who showed up. Start with seven days; decide what comes next when the week is done.

What to look for in a shared habit tracker
Choose a tracker that both people can use, that makes the daily action clear, and that explains what happens on a rest day or a missed day. Agree which progress you want to share before you start. More features are useful only when they help you keep the promise.
- A specific target: minutes, reps, steps or a simple check-in.
- A schedule you can keep: planned rest days and a finish line.
- Visible effort: see check-ins and encourage your friend.
- A free way to join: your friend should know what they can do before being asked to subscribe.
How to start with your accountability partner
- Pick one small action. A ten-minute walk or ten minutes of reading is a clearer promise than getting healthier.
- Choose your first week. Set the target, schedule and seven-day finish in Antamio.
- Invite your friend. Share the challenge invitation. They install the app if needed, then return to that original link to join.
- Check in after doing it. See who has shown up and encourage each other.
- Review the finished week. Keep your progress card, then repeat, adjust the target or choose a new challenge.
You can invite a friend into the same challenge or host a private group. The app is available through the iPhone TestFlight beta and Android early access; both people need the native app.
Challenges to do with friends
Choose something you both want to practise. Here are three simple first weeks; agree a comfortable target rather than competing over who can do more.
| Shared challenge | First-week target | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Walk together or separately | 10 minutes on each planned day | Minutes walked |
| Read a little each day | 10 minutes for seven days | Reading minutes |
| Make time for a personal project | One short session each day | A completed check-in |

What happens when someone misses a day?
Plan rest days into your schedule: they do not break your streak. A Streak Shield can cover a missed day when one is available. Free includes one Shield per challenge; Plus renews it weekly. Agree with your friend that a missed day is a reason to check in with each other, not abandon the week.
What is free, and when does Plus help?
Invitations and joining challenges are free. Free also includes up to three active solo challenges, one hosted private group of up to five people, the last 30 days of detailed history, progress cards and reveal-video exports. Photos are optional.
Plus is for people who need unlimited solo challenges, multiple hosted groups of up to 50 people each, reusable templates or full history. Subscription prices and billing periods are shown in the app. Compare the Free and Plus plans before choosing.
A tracker or a group chat?
A group chat works well for encouragement. A shared tracker adds a defined target, schedule and progress record, so check-ins do not disappear between unrelated messages. Try one week and see whether that structure helps your group; you do not need to replace the chat where you already talk.

Track it in Antamio
Set it up as Read, 10 minutes a day, 7 days.
- Set the target once. Reps, minutes, or simply done. Pick the length (3 to 365 days) and how often: every day, or every 2 to 7 days with rest days that never break your streak.
- Stamp the day. One tap when you are done. Log extra reps whenever you do them; the total counts them all. A reminder at the time you choose, and a gentle nudge at 8 pm if you haven’t stamped yet.
- Miss one, keep going. Each challenge has a Streak Shield that covers one missed day automatically.
- Keep the proof. Take an optional before photo. At the end you get a before-and-after proof card and a short reveal video. Both are free to share.
- Bring someone. Invite a friend or a small group to the same challenge and cheer each other on.
